Schmeisser Ultramatch tubular handguard: zweibein montage

Dear shooters,

I like to mount a bipod to my new Schmeisser Ultramatch with tubular handguard.

My gun is still on order, so I was wondering if anybody has experience with bipod mounting on this type handguard? Please see picture in below link:

I don't want to drill in a new rifle, should have thought about this before.

Why do they sell a "Ultramatch" gun which is not ready to accept a bipod?

Anyway, maybe I should find another good handguard in similar style (I like the tubular style over the quad type).

The Problem is, if Mount the bipod AT the Gasblock, the freefloat Barrel IS not longer a freefloat Barrel

The 12,37" version fits the Schmeisser UM 20" perfectly.

I´m using mine since two years now.

It is light, sturdy, has multiple 8-angle mounting options for rails and stuff, is not to big so that you can grab it with your hands easily and smoothly, has no sharp edges or something, which could cut your fingers.

I´ve mounted an Atlas Bipod on it.
My front sight post is mounted on the original gas block (which works with the 12,37"-version).

I wouldn´t mount a front sight on a handguard.
Those which I had weren´t stable enough to hold the line when going prone on the bipod.

I would buy the Samson again, exactly in this version, hands down.

die sind nicht mehr besetzt. Da ist eine Grenze dazwischen und in Heubach wird er den Vorderschaft nicht kaufen.

Es gibt Menschen und Firmen, die fahren , in der Regel Kleintransporter, Gelb, Braun oder Weiß/Rot.

Die bringen Dinge von einem Ort zum anderen. Die schaffen es sogar über Grenzen zu fahren....besonders da die zwischen DE und NL nur noch theoretisch ist.....

Wußte ich nicht. Ein Bekannter aus Innsbruck wollte in Deutschland kaufen und der Händler hat ihm geschrieben, dass er bei den Amis dafür unterschrieben hat, dass er nix aus Deutschland raus exportiert. Dachte das gilt dann auch hier.
